Looking out the window, seeing the landscape, meeting new people and thinking about your travels. Train rides in India.

For me long hours in the train or bus are actually hours I enjoy. In between destinations and no where to go but to enjoy the view. At first I was a little scared of trains in India. You also must have seen those videos with trains packed with people and you think that all the trains in India must be like that. I will tell you, it might be there but I have not seen it. In the Indian train system you have several classes which could be confusing. You have AC 1, AC 2, sleeper, AC seats, non AC seats. I preferred to take the sleeper class while traveling. Its alive, you meet new people, get to know the culture more. But I must say it was also very hot. While traveling in Rajasthan temperatures raise up till 51 degrees Celsius. You can imagine that a non AC train rides were very hot. All in all, when in India, don’t be scared and emerge!

I hope you enjoy the photos!
